Tsuki Waza (Punches)

Note : Each technique can be targeted to a different area. A Jodan punch is to the head, Chudan to the middle and Gedan to the groin So a Jodan Oi Tsuki is high, and Gedan Oi Tsuki is low The word 'Tsuki' is often spelled 'Zuki'

Age Tsuki - Rising punch

Choku Tsuki - Straight punch

Ippon Ken Tsuki - One-knuckle fist punch (Hangetsu)

Kizami Tsuki - Jab

Morote Shita Tsuki - Augmented upper inverted punch

Ni Jodan Shita Tsuki - Double inverted upper punch

Oi Tsuki - Lunge punch

Oi-Gyaku Tsuki - Lunging reverse punch

Ren Tsuki - Double punch

Shita Tsuki - Inverted punch

Yama Tsuki - Wide 'U' (Mountain) punch

Awase Tsuki - 'U' punch

Gyaku Tsuki - Reverse punch

Kagi Tsuki - Hook punch

Mawashi Tsuki - Round house punch

Morote Tsuki - Parallel punch

Ni Yoko Chudan Tsuki - Double middle side punch

Oi Tsuki Maeude Hineri - Lunge punch with turning forearm

Otoshi Tsuki - Dropping punch (Empi)

San Tsuki - Triple punch

Ura Tsuki - Close punch

Yoko Tsuki - Side punch
